We bought the Southern Season grits at a specialty store in Delaware while visiting a friend. Didn't cook until about 2 months later. We cook ours in Veggie Broth and not water. Then Add caramelized onions and some cheese at the end. So So much grit goodness in every spoonful. We always make extra, to add to our Breakfast, lunch or dinner
We bought these at a specialty shop somewhere on our travels, and have reordered online a few times. The texture is a little toothy because they're stone ground, but that means they have a nuttiness that overly processed grits just can't match. They cook up perfectly whatever you're doing with them. They're a staple in our cupboard and I just sent some as a gift to my sister-in-law, an Alabaman stranded in New Hampshire!
My husband is an expert when it comes to grits! I picked these up at a store near us and he said these are the best grits he ever ate....in his lifetime! Looks like these will always be on the grocery list!

Years ago I had grits in a Charleston restaurants so creamy I dreamed of them, called the restaurant and tried forever to find them. The Southern Season grits are so close to those of my dreams. I miss shopping in the store store but so glad they are available on line.
