Peppermint oil (Mentha piperita) a pure, natural essential oil and is used as a flavoring for its powerful, minty flavor. Peppermint is also used in aromatherapy for its invigorating and refreshing properties. When used as a flavoring, use sparingly, essential oils are potent.
